mild set up on 4S? On a touring car? Unless you have a ton of punch and traction control dialed in via ESC, there's nothing mild about 4S in a touring car.
LIke they said up there, might be a tad heavy, but mild will no tbe the word you're reaching for after you see her run. :)
Ran a 3S in my TC4 with an R1-Pro and a MM 5700 motor. Stock spur and a 26t pinion netted me 65mph...and could have been faster if I had a longer runway.
If you want a mild setup, do yourself a favor and save yourself some cash. Pick up a VXL system and call it a day. A VXL system should get you in the mph neighborhood that you're shooting for and it won't be eating up your diffs too bad.
Tried running a 76t spur and a 69t spur. Plenty torque with the 76t, but on 3S my diffs wouldn't last me more than several weekends. 69t spur gave me stupid speed (car was trying to lift at speed), but man oh man did she love differentials (at the rate of replacing them every other weekend).
Truth be told, I'm a bit tired of replacing diffs. I can almost do it with my eyes closed now. sigh.
