No, 1mm prob isn't enough, but 1.5mm should do it, after all this is high carbon steel we are talking about here.

A 4.8mm shaft should do it to give a little tolerance play in the hollow shaft, me thinks?

If I stick with an outrunner, I will probably go with the Scorpion motors, I don't like to go cheap, I have learn my lesson after a Feigao motor...

Sike, what does the contra motor have to do with this? j/k Good idea for the plane guys though!


I just emailed Neu Motors about making a special motor, so we shall see if they can make something, and if it's even feasible. I should just get Neu to custom make a special motor/gear box into one unit (replaceable gears obviously) and sell it under my own company.
