You probably need to calibrate the radio to the esc- make sure the throttle trims are at neutral & the expo set to 100%. There are so many little dip-switches on those escs, try and find the instructions somewhere online and make sure its setup correctly.
Or buy a decent modern esc that doesnt self-destruct when you look at it wrong...
