The Tekin ESC is almost identical weight as the servo(within 1/2 oz).
The motor is a little lighter than the battery(depends on the battery), but the center diff is also on the motor side(not centered in the chassis).

Actually, the Tekno kit is basically a mirror of mine from a weight balance perspective(Tekno has motor, diff and esc on one side with the battery and servo on the other - RC-Monster has motor, diff and servo on one side with battery and esc on the other). My kit centers the receiver, but the weight of either kit is similarly balanced, albeit on opposite sides of the chassis(swap esc for servo basically). As I said previously, there is not a very appreciable balance issue either way, especially on a truggy. A heavy battery will skew the weight balance with any setup - you could add weight to offset if you think it is necessary.

As a side note, my motor mount can also be used on the front side for a dual battery setup(motor next to steering servo in front left). Dual batteries could be placed on the rear(2s on motor side and 3s on other side perhaps).

There are many ways to skin the cat, as they say. Our kit is as well balanced as anything else out there, but you could go crazy with lead weights and a scale if you really want to get silly with it. Most folks wouldn't know the difference - in fact, a nitro car's balance changes with the fuel level, so if you don't notice this then it is unlikely that you would notice any imbalance on an electric converted car, which maintains a constant balance thoughout the run.
