I have used 40 series Road Rage and HPI Phaltlines with my 8T. The Road Rages have awesome traction, but probably should be balanced for anything over 40mph and the Phaltlines are good, but not as much traction as the Road Rages probably due to the smaller tire width and I think the Phaltlines are a harder compound.
