a freind of mine bought the ps3 slim and within a few weeks it had a small problem and he took it to one of his freinds who works at best buy and the guy fixed it within 20 minutes... so it isnt as crappy as the xbox 360
but i would agree with you... i bought the 1st gen 160 gig ps3 and it is amazing! never had any problems.
i think the ps3 slims look sorta lame too... but thats just me.
