I can't afford Neus either. IMO the CC Neus are nearly just as good. I don't ever see the need for more torque in a truggy than what the MMM makes on 4s. Runtimes will increase if you run lower kv and higher voltage but that's mostly a concern for racers to ensure they finish the main. I think a 2650kv on 3s in the buggy would be plenty fast, have decent runtime and not get hot. If you want more speed you can use 4s on it though it will be a current hog then. Many run the 2200kv in buggies. They don't need that much torque but they work well...just need to control your trigger
