hi neil/all...funny you should say that cause i was just reading up about bevel gears before i turned on my laptop, talking to redshift reminded me to look up various types of cuts to bevel gears and so far ive not found any type that looks like a traxxas diff pinion (im shure this is why they fail so easy-along with being mounted in plastic).
well to cut a gear i would need it with the teeth on so no good sending it to me worn with a few teeth missing. need to find the module of the cog and a good external diameter measurement also helps. so how small are we talking? have you got a diameter?
bevel gears are a little more tricky and time consuming to make. also may have to purchase a cutter (depending on module and how many teeth this gear has), are yours diecast? there will be a visible line around half the gear if so, horibble grey soft shite. probly wont put up with brushless on 5s mate
and whats all this talk of fish n chips and angel delight, is bad enough having to look at all those shiny new bits. if i want the munchies neil, ill watch the cooking channel
