I would say it depends. Do you mind if your rear CVD's and some of the screws end up with rust on them? If not, then pay no mind to it.
Road salt is probably not as hard on them as sea salt from the sand. I run mine in the sand, and end up having to pull things apart to sand off the rust as best as I can.
