Yeah, i was wondering why on earth didn't he used the lower plate.. :D

You could use those common 6-7 cells kyosho batterieholders, and use a small plate of aluminum/carbon fibre on the bottem of it to protect the cells.

You will love an automatic 2 speed on BL (at least, i did on my savage)
