Oh I read it all. Completely understood the bottom of the case stayed behind. How many times had you had it open?

Now you know this isn't a sufficient way to hold them down. If this was my situation I would consider it my fault.
Maybe castle will disagree and warranty it. If you tell them the same story you wrote here, I doubt it.
Not starting a flame war, IMO you should have fastened it better. I'm sure you will next time. The traxxas hold downs are the shit and have a place for the switch.
