I was wondering where this post went. I have several air guns:
Crossman 760 pumpmaster shortened barrel with suppessor. I used to kill squirrels with it. It's not real powerful or accurate (smooth bore) but it is good enough for 15 kills. Some of you may think it's cruel but I got tired of fixing the hole in the attic where they were hiding their nuts. Little Bastards.
Crossman 1377 classic converted to .22cal and modified so that it shoots right at 700 fps. It's a single shot pump. Shoots real nice, but LOUD. My Marlin model 60 .22 rifle (20" bbl) is quieter.
Crossman 2240 .22 cal CO2 single shot. It's shoots pretty well in the summer, but you have to keep it warm in the winter or you only get a few shots.
Crossman Storm XT 1000fps .177 cal. is powerful enough for small game but the least accurate gun I have even with the scope. I bought this when I was on a trip to West Virgina and had to stay in a cabin with no TV.
We have no laws regarding airguns here in Texas. I know a few prople that have custom air rifles that are big bore as in 9mm and .45 cal and are powerful enough for boar.
