Extra precaution then I guess. I have seen Hitecs fail when water enters through the horn rather the casing and seizes the motor. So I placed a small amount of marine grease around the gears and the horn to ensure no water enters from there. Then I plasti-dipped the casing where the two parts meet even though there is a rubber gasket... Just for extra insurance I guess. The heat sink is still open to the elements, though I have never been able to get this servo hot.
