See this is the problem. The tables are run by a person who knows how to manipulate the cards no matter who sits down, and the roulette wheel is the biggest risk of all in any casino. The slots are rigged to win every so many cycles no matter who sits in front of them. It is all about numbers and the luck of the draw as far as which machine you sit in front of. I am willing to bet that they even have them rigged to win more often at certain times of the day when the most people are stroling through the casino floor. How many big winners do you really see leaving the tables? Very rare unless they are trying to sucker some big rollers onto the tables.
My wife and I set a limit for each of us every time we go there, and once we reach that limit the plan is to do other things like the shows or spas. My wife always hits first on one of the slots and things escelate from there. Once she hits we put the original biddings back into the old pocket book and leave them there for the remainder of the day/night. We have gone to Vegas every year since we got married in 2004, and have always left with more $$$$ than we arrived with, including paying for our hotel bill and whatever entertainment that we enjoy. We never try to win big and leave with a bank full of money. That is how people end up losing their homes and ending up deep in debt. If you measure the numbers of people who are actually playing compared to who is winning the casino is always watching and always winning. They have to let someone win just to sucker others in to spending their hard earned money.
