Try lipos w/stcok brush motor first, might be fast enough for you.
If you go BL is a PITA because of the RX and servo and almost to fast to control well.

HobbyCity also has a few small brushless inrunners that look about the same size as the Losi ones, but much cheaper. There was another micro brushless motor I used that was better than the Losi ones, I found it on a heli website, I'll see if I can track it down again.
+1, Miniture money pit with limited fun on tap.
Keep it brushed and chuck in a 2s lipo, it'll be plenty quick !


I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.
