Most seem to be on 5 or 6s Lipo but have seen a few on 4s. I have always maintained that it's not the failure I have a problem with (things fail, it happens, thats why there are warranties) but the manner in which they fail (lots of smoke, fire, melted cases and potential damage to other components or people) and the regularity that it occurs. I know some guys on their 10th MMM! And while most "know-it-all" forum users will try and put it down to user error, that's not often the case. When you manufacture a product that is included in Traxxas Brushless Revo's, HPI Flux etc you have to anticipate a certain degree of "newbie" users and have a system that is somewhat tolerant of this.
