I have just had the RC8Te from Associated, and was actually very pleased with it. It runs very good on 5s with the RX8/2000 combo. I sold it yesterday, not because I wasn´t satisfied, but because I bought a MBX6-T in stead.
I cannot comment on the Tekno kit, but I think AE have done a good job on their E-models, and the price is also fair enough.
