Its the extra length and weight of the 1518 motor that makes me think it might be a tight squeeze, and be a bit more demanding that a shorter motor or the same kv. I believe the rotors on the tekins have been addressed pretty much so a new one should be fine vs one thats been on the shelf a while ( tekin will still warrenty a bad motor just like castle would so its not a biggie in that respect ).
I'd say look into the truggy sub-forum and see what other guys are running in similar setups to yours, more likely to get a better concensus of whats good or what overkill etc.
