Our bearings are dual shielded, so there should be no need for lubrication. Lubrication will just sit on the outside of the bearing and attract dirt to the most vulnerable part of the bearing; potentially doing more harm than good. It doesn't hurt to dust the motor off, and I have some seen some motor that have been almost completely filled with fine dirt. So taking them apart from time to time and clearing out the debris is not a bad idea.
