hi,

I use a sticky quality ep grease, which is used for ball bearings. it works even under high pressure and is water resistant. go for a quality brand, and you're on the safe side. when it's ok for trucks and cars, it should be ok for r/c.

extreme water or high temperature resistance is not required. don't go for marine grease, their focus is water resistance, but are in general not "ep"-style (special additives/salts).
