Why can't we call it the proper name, Government run Health Insurance. Which we all know how anything government runs tends to go extremely well!

The whole thing is a sham and just one more way of the government taking control. Great...

Since when has health insurance coverage been a right? Health insurance is a privilege! It's a reward for those that work hard and make better lives for themselves to cover them in times of need. Health insurance is not a privilege for those that don't work or better themselves.
Some want to compare this to state mandating car insurance policies for all drivers. How is this the same? Car insurance was mandated to protect other drivers, not yourself. It's there to provide payment when you screw up and don't have the funds to pay upfront. And by the way, driving is not a right either. Its a privilege. There are other means of transportation: walking, biking, public means...

Let's review countries with socialized medicine and "healthcare" and see how they've turned out. Wow, don't you know people from these socialized societies come to the USA for our health care system. I wonder why...

I want to know which Democrats will be getting kick backs from these insurance companies that will become government run...

I would also like to point out the fact that this bill is pushing a product and forcing the American public to buy a product. This in itself is unconstitutional and is the basis of the lawsuits from the state.

And what the hell is with Obama having that black kid there while signing the bill? Just because his mother was poor and died of natural causes because she didn't have the money for health insurance to pay for medicine?

The whole problem with health care began when all the HMO, PPO, HNO yada yada came to be. People used to have insurance that paid 80% and we picked up the remaining 20%. However, when all these new policies came to be with the copays, thats when the health care industries started jacking everything around. A shot or medicine that used to cost $20 became $120 because the individual never sees the actual bills anymore until it's submitted to the health insurance company. So they started to get away with it more and more and look at where we were yesterday.
All we need to do fix the pricing market and viola! problem solved.
