I just bought some standard hyper 8 shocks (my lhs had no BB) and I'm going to try a proof of concept, because I'm not trying to get massive artic. I'll move the mount farther back on the chassis to accomodate the extra length therefore It won't matter if they are larger as the skids will still bottom out long before the shocks do as this project is mostly for the increased durability of the buggy shocks.I'll post back later on my findings, the hyper shocks aren't that much longer so I should be able to accomodate them on the standard chassis pretty easily.in fact, the fronts will be mounted with cut down rocker posts and locknuts to where the servo wire routing clips were.--Josh
