It'll all come down to who can control the paint. Perk/KG/Sheed all have to have a presence in there. Limit LA's second chance opportunities (what they did in games 4/5), and they should put themselves in good shape.
The bottom line for the C's is, they have to play defense AND have at least two primary scorers get the job done. As we saw with LA, even Kobi can't carry the team. The score in game 5 doesn't tell the story. Boston clearly dominated the game on both ends of the floor but Kobi did what he could to carry the team. Not a Kobi fan but I've got to give the guy kudo's for stepping up in a big game/spot. For those stating/complaining about Kobi being a ball hog or hurting his team,.,.,. Please, the guy took a tired looking squad, put them on his back and tried to will a win. With as poorly as the team shot, it's a miracle they didn't get blown out....
It'll be interesting to see how the old guys handle the quick turn-around as well as how it affects Bynum. They are a much weaker team when he's not dictating things in the middle.
Rondo has to control the show tonight. Run when you can and create. There's no one on the Lakers that can handle him in the open court including Kobi. BUT, he's gotta do it when and where it makes sense. Turnovers are a killer and LA is too good to give free possessions too.
Should be a great game.
