Oh, I forgot to mention the over-unity braking system we are working on. It returns more energy to the battery during braking than is used during acceleration.
This way we can keep the batteries charged indefinitely. We tap the zero-point energy of the magnetic field generated in the motor to achieve over-unity braking.
Oh, and it won't work on oval, unless you regularly hit the brakes at random. I know what people will ask "why don't you have the controller do the random braking automatically?" -- but the reason is that zero point energy only exists if it is taken by surprise -- and it seems to anticipate microprocessor randomization routines. You can think of zero-point energy as being a "deer in the headlights" type of energy. If it knows you are coming, it makes sure it's not around.
