I would go with linux personally. It has a ton of customization features I bet you could make it look just like osx if that's what you are after.

Right now I'm dual booting Linux Ubuntu and Win 7. Games only happen on win 7, but ubuntu pwns windows in the music and customization department. There aren't any viruses either. And it's free. And it's probably faster, if that's an issue.

And honestly, Linux has more available software then osx.
