1717 it is. - 11.27.2010, 07:37 PM

I think I will go ahead and get one of the 1717's then. I have a 1520, a 1521, and now I have a 1527 as well. I want to have plenty of options with this project in trying to reach my goal of going well over 100mph when the time comes. That way if one fails for whatever reason I can just switch out the motor/ESC combination and keep right on trucking. Weight is not really that much of a big deal for me. I still believe that having a reasonable amount of weight is required to keep things stable and on the ground. I have seen way too many people trying to go light on a high speed project and watch it fly away completely obliterating their projects. Watching how they do things at the Boniville salt flats tells me that you have to find a happy medium in weight in order to reach ones goal and still have a vehicle left at the end. anyway thanks for the advice. Now to see if there are any 1717's left and how much are they?
