The 2010 rules dictate stator and rotor sizes, stator ID, wire gauge and turns for specific classes, and that 2 pole 3 slot salient pole design is used. It also dictates lamination thickness. While there isn't much room for working around the design, there is still room for improvement within the 2010 specs. An answer that you can't answer would suffice for now
