, sorry. I really like what you are doing with your trailer for a portable R/C shop. I have seen guys using an old Winnabego that looks like it is fifty years old, but doing a modern conversion seems to be a much better choice. Nice work.
James I to like building things that will surely out last me in the long run. I like furniture that is heavy duty and looks beefy. I always tell the kids that the stuff that I make will be here even long after they are dead and gone. In our rental property in Vallejo, Ca when I gutted the kitchen for the new renovation I recycled as well. I carefully removed the old cabinets and installed them in the garage and created a nice workshop. All I had to buy was a couple of new 10' countertop from The Home Depot for $50 each, and layed them over some old 3/4" plywood for extra strength. You could park a car on it. The only added cost was installing a 12 outlet power strip, and a few flourecent fixtures for good work lights under the overhead cabinets. No one else knew I was going to do that and it received rave reviews. Now the new tenants have a very organized workshop as part of the deal.
