Alright thanks for the advice guys. I tried opening it up and just wiping it down but didnt do much. I noticed on the inside of the windings there is a whitish substance... Is this tiny particle of sand or is this a normal glue or other substance? I would assume the windings would normally just be bare copper (less resistance) but thought id mention it. I did try hooking it up last night after getting what I could out and it seemed a tiny bit better but still definitely not good. Before the rotor would hardly move at all and now it seems like maybe it moves about 90 degrees or so before it coggs/stops due to locked rotor. I will try some electronics spray once I get home.
