Yes it is nice to have crazy power, but it is not always the best choice to have things set balls to the walls. Second I do not have an ERBE but share your whole electronics setup with us and lets brainstorm on the problem (ESC, Motor, Batts, what speed are you geared for, Etc...). Just from your explanation it sounds as if your diffs might not be setup perfectly (shims?). Just an observation. Are the gears in your diffs hardened steel, or stock?
I'm running 6s geared for around 45 mph max MMM 2200kv neu motor. the gears are the stock traxxas ones (ring and pinion) and they have been shimmed properly. i just truly think that the erbe is not designed properly to handle 6s. I try and leave my slipper clutch as the weak link or even don't mind replacing the drive shafts occasionally, but the amount that the erbe is down is not appropriate.

Quick story, long time ago when i first got into rc cars i bought a Mauruchi Hunter (i was a little boy). at first i had a grin ear to ear when i drove it...soon it disappeared whith all the problems i had with its drive train. My other two friends had the same problem with their hunter. Then i switched to Tamaya, bought a Frog then a Falcon. Better, no drive train issues but still a little too beginerish i felt. Then I bought a RC10 and that was the love of my life (rc wise :). I started racing it and it dished out everything i threw at it...and more. Parts would wear but rarely break. That's what I'm looking for, something which is designed to handle todays MMM output on 6s.

I realize that's a big difference power wise today from yesterday's nimh and cad batt's motors etc. However, I'm just looking to take it out occasionally and have some fun with it. My erbe sat on the shelf for almost a year...now I know why i put it away.

I was warned that i would spend all my time and a whack of money on the thing...and i have. I think its time to move on. I'm hoping to use my radio (dx2s) 2x3s xps 5000mah lipos and my MMM and neu motor (have new back up in box) on a new rig.

Any advice on what truggy (maybe a buggy) to look at would be appreciated.
