Well, I wanted a truggy/buggy initially but decided on the erbe becasue i wanted something that would handle close to a truggy and offer the ground clearance of a monster truck...erbe seemed to fit the bill the best. Soon i started going through the stock drive shafts like tic tac's and diff's too. I upgraded to steel traxxas cvd's which were not much better. I've since switched to summit shafts and they seem to hold up much better. the reason i don't want a savage is bc they just don't seem to handle as well and tend to flip over too much.
i just took the front diff's off and realized that the ring bearing had let go. this wasn't the upgraded avid bearing (as is the case in the rear). maybe its time to just get out of rc cars for me once again...go back to my heli (trex 550 3g) or my yz450.
