I was looking at the Leopard 4082 1000kv or 1250kv (42x82mm can)

But it says that they should only run 25,000-35,000 rpm???
It is a little low right? Because on 9s a 1250kv motor is spinning at 41,000rpm... That seems acceptable right?

Those RPM suggestions are from OSE (off shore electrics), and seem to just be a very general guide line...
In my experience a tame setup is 25-30k, a performance setup is 30-40k, and a screaming setup is 40k and up. I think the higher the RPM the motor peaks at the more aggressive the acceleration is getting to that RPM. I've settled in at around 38-40k for the best compromise of power and run time for most of my rigs :-)
