I say, why not ? The amp draw doesn't depend of the motor but depends of the setup.
The motor weights 1,3kg, if its put in a monster truck of 4kg, it will do 5,3kg total weight. Geared for less than 50mph, the MMM should be totally fine, the MMM is enough to push a 5kg vehicle to more than 60mph with 6S lipo, so why not ?
More over the 2028 has a small Kv so high inductance, then the current spikes should be very low compared to other setup with smaller motors...
Just my opinion...
