I am trying to determine a starting point for my D8Te. Would this work and be fairly safe to bash with on 4s?
Differential Ratio: 4.3
Transmission Ratio: 1
Other Ratio: 1
Spur Tooth Count: 50
Pinion Tooth Count: 14
Total Voltage: 14.80
Motor KV: 2100
Tire Diameter (inches): 5.8
Tire Ballooning (inches): 1.00
Motor Current Draw: 140
Motor Coil Resistance: 0
Spur/Pinion Ratio: 3.57 : 1
Total Ratio: 15.35714 : 1
Tire Circumference (inches): 24.5 inches (622.41 mm)
Rollout: 1.60:1
Total Motor Speed: 31080 RPM
Vehicle Speed: 46.96 mph (75.44 km/h)
Effective KV Value: 2100
KT constant: 0.64 oz-in/A
Motor Torque: 0.47 ft-lbs
Final Torque: 7.21 ft-lbs
Final Power: 2072 watts (2.8 HP)
Then this is what I would use on 5s, does this look good?
Differential Ratio: 4.3
Transmission Ratio: 1
Other Ratio: 1
Spur Tooth Count: 50
Pinion Tooth Count: 12
Total Voltage: 18.50
Motor KV: 2100
Tire Diameter (inches): 5.8
Tire Ballooning (inches): 1.00
Motor Current Draw: 140
Motor Coil Resistance: 0
Spur/Pinion Ratio: 4.17 : 1
Total Ratio: 17.91667 : 1
Tire Circumference (inches): 24.5 inches (622.41 mm)
Rollout: 1.37:1
Total Motor Speed: 38850 RPM
Vehicle Speed: 50.32 mph (80.83 km/h)
Effective KV Value: 2100
KT constant: 0.64 oz-in/A
Motor Torque: 0.47 ft-lbs
Final Torque: 8.41 ft-lbs
Final Power: 2590 watts (3.5 HP)
Thanks for the help,
Nick
