It's called spin and damage control, it's the heart of PR. There a huge firms whose sole job is to do just that. It was a negative experience, but they have to focus on the positive. I agree calling it a great experience is a bit extreme though. Should have said something like "It was a difficult time, but in the end it allowed us to upgrade the security and make the PSN more robust"
