My ripple in with my other XL2 in my brushless Baja 5t with a 2028 motor on 8s had only 5.5%

Why would a Revo with 1/3 the weight produce more ripple. My lipos are Orion 4700mah 45c rating. I would think the lower voltage, lighter car would produce an ultra low ripple. My lipos are still pretty darn good with maybe 200 cycles at most.

Thoughts? What else do you need to know.

On 6s with a 10lb Revo, is 8.8% ripple acceptable?

I was kind of bummed ripple was higher than my 30lb baja 5t. (running 8s Hyperion with one set, and MaxAmps the other set)
That surprises me -- if you are using the same battery packs, higher ripple means higher current.

What does the max currents from the data logs show? With good gearing, you might be pulling more amps on the Revo due to the four wheel drive-- it's getting the power down where the Baja will spin the two tires at similar throttle levels.

Thanx!
