Kinda!
The leopard is more of a 5000 watt motor and the 2028 a 7500 watt motor. But leopards have been geared for 55mph in bajas with no problems.
You could slowly gear up and just watch motor temps to make sure you don't fry it.
Of course that's if you are interested in speed runs. I like to push things to the edge.
I can't wait for it to warm up in MN so I can get out and r/c!
