You can't compare 1/8th durability to 1/10th scale durability. The 1/8th scale will win every time.

Some tracks do NOT allow 1/8th scales for various reasons, in fact most tracks by specifically disallow 1/8th buggies and truggies. They are too heavy and their insurance will not allow vehicles over a certain weight.

This is the reason I got a 10TT and am going to mod it to look like an 8th scale buggy. The longer wheelbase will make it handle closer to the 1/8th buggies I like, but it will still be under the limit.

I didn't by a Losi 810 because I didn't want to go through an electric conversion on it. My next 8th scale buggy will likely be a Nexx8, its cheap, parts compatible with my truggy, and I know it'll be supported for a very long time.
