Like Harold mentioned, pretty much all 1/8 buggies use Mod1 gears, including the mbx4. Our Mugen motor mount is a direct fit on the mbx4 as well, and opur 50x150 1 piece battery tray is the universal tray that is used when a vehicle-specific tray is not offered.
Also, let me know when you are ready to upgrade - I have a new, converted mbx6 MSpec buggy that I used for trade shows for sale. It has never been run. :)

Hey....thanks for Chiming in Mike! Every time I have a question and it gets answered....a light goes off in my head that says " I knew that.....and totally forgot it!" hehe.
Good to know you guys have the pinion gears here....as I'll get some ordered up along with that battery tray. As far as the Mugen goes....I "could" be interested , but I have one of my fellow MX buddies who owns the local bike shop...just get a "great planes" distributorship and he's cutting all us riding guys a break on stuff. I'm kind of committed in getting an MBX6 from him with a Tekin RX8 / 2050 motor combo for $700.00.....which is a pretty good savings I guess. BUT....you are more than welcome to post a pic of that bad boy....I may change my mind hehe.
