I don't imagine that the 1mm difference from a 16mm shock would make all that much difference. I'm super happy with the 16mm big bore shocks I swapped out from the original 13mm bore shocks it was equipped with. The truck really needed a better shock to handle the extra weight and damping needs of the electric conversion. It gained nearly 2lbs from the conversion I think.
