I don't consider it price gouging since a strobe brace isn't a necessity in life. If there is someone wanting it that bad, then they will pay what ever it takes to get it. I still can't believe I have $200 in mine, but I wanted it and price wasn't a factor when I found them.

I would say that the in the Maxx community the strobe braces are still a part that people would like to get there hands on. I would take another set myself if I could get them at a more reasonable price. One thing that does limit there market is the fact that they don't work with all of the aftermarket shock towers. I bought my set with plans of using them on my Gmaxx and found out they don't work with the Gmaxx towers when you have the extenders installed with the towers. Im not sure what else they will or will not work with, but the towers have to be a certain thickness for them to work.
