Braking force vs Amp rating -

The idea is simple. Matching the esc to the amp rating of the esc as close as possible so the adjustments in brake force and punch control are as small as possible. IE, going from 30% to 40% results in the smallest change possible.
Does the amp rating of an esc have anything to do with the esc's total brake force? Is 100% brake force the maximum the esc is capable of or is it limited somewhat already before we even start tuning in Castle link?
