So a few steps forward with some cosmetic items whilst I wait for the filler connector to be welded...
I installed the new gear shift knob - very nicely machined. If anyone has a brandwood setup this is definitely the way to go...
Next up I replaced the hose connection from the tank - it used a really nasty looking plastic elbow. Found a nice HPS 1" to .75" 90 degree elbow with a .75" 45 degree pipe.
