I went with some old school v-thread, Traxxas maxx 3.2 tires on the Thunder tiger 23mm hex wheels instead, since they are molded thicker than the new school tires.
A friend has some 3.8 mashers layin around, might be looking in to what you are looking for if a chance is given
It will fit :).
