It's not that the bearing's are cheap. I just blew my 9l bearing(although feigao) and need to get that tiny metal outer ring out. Good luck to me, cause it won't go out smooth.
Next point is how would you take a backplate off if the motor shaft can bounce between the bearing's with nothing that's holding it? The only way left is the front plate, but I can tell you, it's 100 time's tighter than the rear one. Or tap it futher out the back so it's hitting with the magnet, but you may risk damaging that doing so.
Be wise and spend the 25 dollar's a rcm heatsink / clamp cost. It will save you allot of trouble.
