I would love to see a 1/8 onroad converted, you could do a high voltage setup with 10s using small lipo cells, like these
http://www.flightpower.co.uk/core/da...a_5s1p2500.htm the smaller cells fit the chassis better. I think a 1940 would be the best size motor for this conversion. I may convert one of these myself eventually.
