I got one when they first came out. Mine was bought so early on, that Eagle Tree had a deal going on for a free temperature sensor that I took advantage of :). It's a nice unit, and works well.
For the Feigao XL motors to put out 3 HP in a burst (they won't do it continuously), you need about 21-22 good NiMh cells and a motor that won't spin too fast with that voltage. Even then, you need an application that needs that sort of power for the motor to put it out!
