About the MMM( Mamba Max Monster), I think I cant get it, because of the low cell counts. The people of CCs told me that some people have used the Phoenix 110HV controller in their trucks, but they did not tell me how did they perform in the MTs. It has no proportional break as well. It would be awsome if this thing can get along with a SuperMaxx. It can handle over 10s lipos easily.
The problem with Tamiya's slipper clutch is that you have to use their specific pinion gears, which right now only come in odd numbers of teeth (23, 25, 27, and either 21 or 29). These gears are a metric pitch, like mod 0.4 or mod 0.5, so you can't just use standard 48p pinions with it. Then, if you strip a stock spur gear or the gear on the slipper clutch, good luck finding a replacement besides online. These reasons are why I chose to spend the $37 on a slipper shaft for B4 parts.

If the Phoenix 110HV were to be used in a truck, it would most likely be used with mechanical brakes. Someone here should try it!
