Thanks for your informative post....
Right now after a few short passes the ESC is pretty warm....I can hold my thumb on it so its not hot....
the motor on the other hand is quite hot and i can't hold my fingers on it for any amount of time....
The batteries are very cool....infact they are barely warm....they are rated as follows...
Rated at 96 Amp Constant Discharge
Rated at 128 Amp Burst for 10 seconds.....
Since I was not thinking I was undergeared I may need to wait a bit longer in order to test out higher gear ratios then what i currently have....I do not have any gears higher than 16....and because of the fins on the motor the 16 tooth pinion I do have is the smallest size that can be used....I have smaller pinions but not larger...so I ordered the 76 tooth spur so I can try out a bit more lower ratios.....
