My 1st BL Conversion Project - Inferno MP7.5 - 09.22.2006, 04:34 PM

Hi, I am new to this forum. I am working on my first BL conversion project and there seem to be some great threads here. I was just looking for any input into suggestions for a successful project.

I have a MP7.5 purchased off of ebay with a nitro motor that had wasted more than enough of my time. I got into brushless and lipo with my RC18MT and find it hard to look back to nitro (haven't run my LST2 more than once in 3 months).

I have purchased the majority of the parts that I think I will need for the conversion up to this point and am waiting by the mailbox:027:

List of parts:
From Fine Design RC - order pretty much most of the parts for the LST2 kit that are available on their site (once I run out of fuel, 2 gal. to go, I will probably move the conversion over to the LST2 anyway)

1/8 Nemesis BLUE XLT- 4 motor
BK 9920/c Speed controller
FDM Alum. Heat Sink BK Speed Control mount
FDM Losi Lipo battery tray with look downs
FDM Alum. motor Clamp mounts
Hitec Y Harness (I want to run ESC for forward, but mechanical brake)
4x 2S 3700mAh lipo (my charger only does up to 3s, so I will run the packs in a 2S2P configuration)

From Tower:
Apogee LOA (low-volt alarm, auto-sense 2S-4S, alarms at 3.2v per cell - I can't find anywhere where it says the 9920 controller has a LVC and I don't want to toast ~$375 in lipos)
New Body and Wing

I've added a few pics (first one is RC18MT) and will post a few progress ones along the way.

Thx all - hope you enjoy.
